French Canadian artist Steven Spazuk has developed a technique that enables him to use a flame to create paintings with the trails of soot that remain. He uses tools to manipulate the soot to create these breathtaking artworks.
These artworks below are made from smaller sheets of paper. The self-portrait (the first work) consists of 272 pieces of paper.
In some of his work he uses paint.
